RE: 20030630:ENP data

Steve,

Yes, I am familiar with the LDM, we built it...However, it is public
domain, and many sites use it outside of our topology. We have no control
on these external machines.

galileo does seem to be dead:

-------------------------------
(jweber) lenny:/home/jweber 40 % ldmping galileo.slc.noaa.gov
Jun 30 20:48:53 State Elapsed Port Remote_Host
rpc_stat
Jun 30 20:48:53 NAMED 0.013644 0 galileo.slc.noaa.gov
gethostbyname(galileo.slc.noaa.gov): lookup failed

(jweber) lenny:/home/jweber 41 % notifyme -vl - -h galileo.slc.noaa.gov
Jun 30 20:49:13 notifyme[3374]: Starting Up: galileo.slc.noaa.gov:
20030630204913.211 TS_ENDT {{ANY,  ".*"}}
Jun 30 20:49:13 notifyme[3374]: Connected to upstream LDM-5
Jun 30 20:49:13 notifyme[3374]: NOTIFYME(galileo.slc.noaa.gov): 13:
gethostbyname(galileo.slc.noaa.gov): lookup failed

(jweber) lenny:/home/jweber 50 % ping galileo.slc.noaa.gov
ping: unknown host galileo.slc.noaa.gov

------------

We have many NOAA sites that do take part in our topology, but again, I do
not know of the data product ENP, so do not know where to direct you to
feed it from.

We also provide data to FNMOC, who may be able to help you...what is the
ENP dataset..?

Thank you,

Jeff
