I'd register with the Unidata GForge site at

    http://gforge.unidata.ucar.edu/

Then, if I had a question, I'd go to the LDM GForge site at

    http://gforge.unidata.ucar.edu/projects/ldm

and use the facilities there.

Version 6.0.15 is the unofficially official version (or is that the
officially unofficial version? :-). It contains a workaround for the
NWS and their AIX systems that is still being worked-on. If you don't
have an AIX system (and few people do) then get version 6.0.14.
