The above message contained the following:

> Is use of LDM restricted in any way? Specifically, can non-UCAR,
> non-educational institutions use LDM?

Anyone can use the LDM as they wish (consonant with the restrictions
in the COPYRIGHT file in the top-level directory of the
source-distribution, which I've attached).

If they're not one of our clients, however, then they shouldn't expect
any support.
