Re: 20041011: rpc.ldmd signal 11s

This could be a red herring, but I decided to graze bugzilla looking
for answers to the following frequently occuring /var/log/messages;

 init: PANIC: segmentation violation at 0x48069288! sleeping for 30 seconds

and I found;

which seems potentially related in that this is an NFS issue that they
pin on an underlying RPC problem (that's what we might have, right?)
Here are two excerpts from the bug;

It appears the next OS update has this fix included.  Let me know if
this is too much of a reach...
