The following entries in your LDM log-file

Nov 05 00:25:55 squall pqact[30899] NOTE: Starting Up
    Nov 05 00:25:55 squall pqact[30912] ERROR: Couldn't exec(decoders/dcnldn):
No such file or directory
    Nov 05 00:25:55 squall pqact[30912] NOTE: Exiting

indicate that the pqact(1) process could find the LDM decoder
"decoders/dcnldn". Because the LDM system runs in the home-directory of
the LDM user by default, the absolution pathname of the decoder program
in question should be "$HOME/decoders/dcnldn". Does it exist?

If it exists, then it is likely that the PATH environment variable isn't
set-up correctly for the LDM. The command "ldmadmin config" will show
you the PATH that the LDM system will use. If necessary to set the PATH
correctly, modify the PATH environment variable in the LDM user's
user-shell and restart the LDM. More information can be found at

    http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/ldm

Click on your version, then on "LDM Basics", then on "Preinstallation
Steps".

If, however, the decoder doesn't exist, then you will have to install
the package that contains it. I believe the above decoder is part of
the GEMPAK package.
