[LDM #UXT-913259]: multiple reports of bursty LDM activity

Rather than encumber our support-email, would you please copy them to
the "logs" directory of the LDM user on Bigbird.  Be sure to rename them
so that they don't clobber Bigbird's LDM log files.  This will allow
me to easily compare the logs.
