[LDM #YJB-290157]: System crashing due to LDM 6.7.0.0 (and previous?)

Wow!  That's a pretty bad bug.

There's not enough information in the bug ticket for me to decide if the
LDM is responsible.

I agree.  No user-space program should be able to crash the operating-
system.
