Setting the variable "$check_time" to 0 in the ldmadmin(1) configuration-file,
etc/ldmadmin-pl.conf, is OK for a temporary fix. Because the LDM system
depends on an accurate system clock, however, you should try to find some
network time protocol (NTP) servers that you can access and put their names in
the "@time_servers" variable in the ldmadmin(1) configuration-file.

In order to diagnose the problem, would you please do the following: 1) make
sure that the LDM isn't running (ps -ef | grep ldm); 2) execute the command
"ldmadmin clean"; 3) execute the command "ldmadmin start" and send us any
output; 4) execute the command "ldmadmin stop"; 5) send us the LDM log file
(typically $HOME/logs/ldmd.log).

Regards,
Steve Emmerson
