[LDM #VVJ-331218]: LDM 6.11.7 Errors - exit LDM Not starting

Our LDM didn't log this connection attempt -- not even to say that your LDM 
wasn't allowed. I suspect, therefore, that your LDM was unable to establish a 
TCP connection to ours.

What is the output of the following command executed by the LDM user on 
Geoprod4:

    telnet uni14.unidata.ucar.edu 388
