[NOAAPORT #YEA-869135]: Issues with ldmping and seeing LDM ingest NOAA data

Your configure(1) script was executed like this:

    $ ./configure --disable-root-actions --with-noaaport --enable-logging=localn

The "n" character in "localn" should have been a numeral from 1 through 7 
(e.g., "local0"). Unless you have something that's using the system logging 
daemon as the "local0" facility, I suggest that you omit the "--enable-logging" 
option.

Re-build and re-install the LDM package starting with the following commands:

    make distclean
    ./configure --disable-root-action --with-noaaport

Send me the output of the command "head config.log" as well as the files 
"configure.log" and "install.log" that are described in the installation 
instructions.
