[LDM #WLE-664327]: GEMPAK support

Are you referring to a recent GEMPAK update, or are you referring to
a recent LDM update?

Also, when you say you are not receiving data, I assume you mean that
your system is not writing data where you want, correct?

In general, the directories into which products are written is
controlled by entries in LDM pattern-action files.  The exception
to this is if the directory references in the pattern-action files
is relative, not absolute.  In this case, one needs to know what
the current working directory is when 'pqact' processes the 
pattern-action file actions.  In recent versions of the LDM, the
current working directory for 'pqact' is defined by the 
<datadir-path></datadir-path> entry in the <pqact></pqact>
section of the LDM registry file, ~ldm/etc/registry.xml.
In old versions of the LDM, the current working directory for
'pqact' was fixed to be the HOME directory of the user running
the LDM, 'ldm'.

It depends on whether you are using relative paths in your pqact.conf
file, or absolute paths.  If you are specifying absolute paths, then
the LDM registry entry that I referred to above should not have any
bearing on where the files are written.  If, on the other hand, you
are using relative paths in your pqact.conf file, then the default
registry entry for <datadir-path> will be the var/data subdirectory
of the HOME for the user running the LDM (e.g., /home/ldm/var/data).

Best practice for pattern-action file entries is to specify absolute
paths for where you want data written.  Historically, the pattern-action
file(s) produced by GEMPAK use relative path names.

Instead of trying to guess what your setup looks like now, it would be
best if you provided an example pattern-action file and the current
LDM registry file so we can see where the actions will try to write
their output.  In addition to this, please provide where you want the
output files to be written.  With these two pieces of information,
we should be able to advise you what you need to change.
