Hi,

The end of configure.log shows that the libxml development environment
is not installed on your machine:

 ...
checking libxml/parser.h presence... no
checking for libxml/parser.h... no
configure: error: Header-file not found

You should install the libxml and libxml2 development environments
and then rerun 'configure'. You should repeat this iterative process
until all of the packages needed have been identified and then installed
by you (as 'root', of course).

No worries.

Out of curiosity, what is your use case for the Raspberry Pi?

Cheers,

Tom
