[McIDAS #OAL-468278]: LDM - TERRA (EOS AM-1) and Aqua Project Science.

Hi Reymer,

The data on nanuk.eosdis.nasa.gov is made available via McIDAS ADDE, so
you can access it programatically using McIDAS or the IDV.

Are you using McIDAS or the IDV? If yes, you would do the following:

In an interactive McIDAS-X session:

DATALOC ADD NANUK nanuk.eosdis.nasa.gov

DSINFO IMAGE NANUK

IMGLIST NANUK/Terra_1KM.-9
Image file directory listing for:NANUK/Terra_1KM

In the IDV, do the following:

In the Data Chooser select Images (under Sat & Radar on the
left hand side).

In the dropdown just to the right of Server: select nanuk.eosdis.nasa.gov
(it should already be in the list). The NANUK dataset should be show
in the Dataset: dropdown/entry.

Click on Connect

Select the dataset you want from the Image Type dropdown

Select the wavelength band you want from the Channel dropdown

Select the number of images you want from the Times list

Adjust the size of the image(s) to display

Click on Add Source

If the checkbox Create Display was checked, you the image(s) you
selected should be displayed. If it is not checked, you should
click on Create Display from the Field Selector tab

There is no LDM running on nanuk.eosdis.nasa.gov, so you should
remove this REQUEST line from your ~ldm/etc/ldmd.conf file and
restart your LDM:

<as 'ldm'>
-- edit ~ldm/etc/ldmd.conf and remove the REQUEST line to nanuk

ldmadmin restart

> Thanks

No worries.

Question:

- do you have any information on receipt/delivery of the cluster
machines that we donated to the UCR?

I haven't heard from Marcial or Francisco in a while, and I
was wondering if they had been delivered yet.

Cheers,

Tom
