[McIDAS #ZJC-592293]: Mcidas not compiling

Hi Heather,

Excellent!

re:

Hmm. What I did to figure out which package was needed was to
examine one of our CentOS systems to see where X11/Intrinsic.h
came from:

% locate Intrinsic.h
/usr/include/X11/Intrinsic.h
% rpm -qf /usr/include/X11/Intrinsic.h
libXt-devel-1.1.3-1.el6.x86_64

Which packages are installed on a system varies greatly even within
a vendor's offering (e.g., RedHat variants that include RedHat
Enterprise, Fedora, CentOS, Scientific Linux, etc.). The net effect
of this is that we have to figure figure out which packages are missing
each time packages are ported to a brand new OS installation. This
is especially true when using virtual machines!

No worries.

Cheers,

Tom
