[McIDAS #FIS-581939]: Geocolor enhancement table

Hi Kwan,

No.

I think that you may be asking how one produces a true color depiction from
multiple wavelength channels. This is not done through use of an enhancement.
It is done using the COMBINE command where the displays of three wavelength
channels are displayed in 3 separate frames, and then combined into a
"true color" image. A typical use for COMBINE is to combine visible
channels (bands) in the red, green and blue into a pseudo-true color image.
Why pseudo-true color? Because, no satellite currently in orbit has
wavelength channels exactly in the middle of red, green and blue portions
of the visible spectrum (except for MODIS which is much closer).

Cheers,

Tom
