[McIDAS #LOB-532260]: Error building McIDAS-X 2016

Hi Kwan,

Yes, but typically the package to be installed on a RedHat variant
version of Linux is byacc. Here are the packages that I found that
I had to install when first configuring a CentOS 6.x system:

Development
--------------------------------------
gcc-gfortran
gcc-c++
byacc
flex
ncurses-devel
libXt-devel
libXext-devel

ADDE
--------------------------------------
xinetd

Fonts
--------------------------------------
xorg-x11-fonts-misc <- for mctext
xorg-x11-fonts-100dpi <- for McGUI
xorg-x11-fonts-75dpi <- for McGUI

For LDM 6.11.x
--------------------------------------
libxml2-devel

Question:

- didn't you build McIDAS-X v2009x on this system previously?

If yes, yacc/byacc would have had to been installed.

Cheers,

Tom
