[McIDAS #JGN-249914]: IMGMAKE

Hi Paul,

I have added an implementation of ADDE servers for the GOES-16 ABI imagery that
is
available in the NOAAPort-derived NOTHER IDD data stream, and I thought you
might
be interested in testing the code.

The servers (ADIR and AGET) support images that have been created by the
stitching
together of the tiles sent in NOTHER using Ryan May's ldm-alchemy package that
is
available in GitHub. They are also capable of serving individual tiles from
the NOTHER
feed as long as those tiles have had the WMO headers (the first 36 bytes of
each tile)
stripped of to leave the unadorned netCDF4 product.

My questions to you are:

- are you currently stitching together the NOTHER tiles into full scenes?

If yes, what software/procedure are you using to create the full scenes?

If you are using a package other than Ryan's ldm-alchemy, can I get one
or a few example files so I can test my code against it/them?

- are you interested in running some tests with the pre-v2017 release and
  providing feedback?

Thanks in advance...

Cheers,

Tom
