[netCDF #EFC-320116]: libifport.so.5

Greetings Johannes,

If you would like to install netCDF in a specific directory (like one in
which you have wrx access), use the --prefix option when running configure:

./configure --prefix=/location/of/your/choice [your other options here]

So for me, I like to install things in my home directory under .local, in a
structure that mimics the layout of /

./configure --prefix=/home/me/.local

Cheers!

Sean
