[netCDF #CCI-504267]: nccopy and opendap/thredds does not attach units value to variables

I will need some clarification.

When I do this command
 ./ncdump -h 
'http://www.esrl.noaa.gov/psd/thredds/dodsC/Datasets/ncep.reanalysis2/pressure/air.2006.nc?air[63:63][0][0:72][0:143],time[63:63],level[0],lat[0:72],lon[0:143]'

I see the units attribute for air. It is listed as:
                air:units = "degK" 

You reference 
"...or u wind velocity or v wind velocity or relative humidity or specific 
humidity
or geopotential height."

I am not sure what you mean by these because there is no, for example,
specific humidity variable that I can see.
Can you clarify?
