GEMPAK and McIDAS on Solaris 8 x86 working

I finally completed installing and configuring GEMPAK and
McIDAS on Solaris 8 x86 and it is working fine. The only thing
I haven't done yet is the run the decoders (I am still using Solaris
7 on another drive for that), but I have mounted by data disk
under Solaris 8 and have exercised the two thoroughly and haven't
found any problems (not that there really should be).
