RE: 20010830: suominet LDM feed

HI Dave,

Well I am not surprised by nothing from GPS on mugps, I suspect mugps is
not requesting GPS since it should only be used to transmit the GPSSRC
(AFOS) data. We should be using twister to request GPS from
suomildm1.cosmic.ucar.edu

How big are your latencies on the AFOS prods to twister?

I suspect that there is not an allow for twister to get GPS.

What is twisters IP?

I am not aware of any need to have the GPS data returned to the GPSSRC
sites, but if you want to get the stream of GPSSRC data on twister from
mugps then see below:

Just for clarificatin:

mugps should have an allow ANY for suomildm1.cosmic.ucar.edu
mugps should have an allow ANY for twister......

twister should have a request AFOS|GPS from suomildm1.cosmic.ucar.edu
and then restrict your AFOS with regular expressions if you only want the
AFOS (GPSSRC) data from mugps.

twister should have a request AFOS (GPSSRC) from mugps

This way, you will get the binex files from mugps and
suomildm1.cosmic.ucar.edu

and the GPS files to twister...not mugps, from suomildm1.cosmic.ucar.edu.

Are we on the same page?

-Jeff
