Metpy Mondays #22 - CAPE/CIN

One of the most requested features in MetPy is CAPE and CIN calculations. These were recently released and this week we're going to show you how to use them! We'll also cover a handy helper function that lets you easily subset over layers in your calculations.

How do you extract the CAPE and CIN values seperately since the mpcalc.surface_based_cape_cin bundles them together?
