GEMPAK 7.3.1 is available as source code, 64-bit Linux binaries, and an OS X binary tarball. The most significant updates in this release are to GEMPAK's Python scripts which retrieve data from an AWIPS EDEX server.

Members of the Unidata Program Center staff will be attending the American Geophysical Union 2016 Fall meeting, December 12-16 2016, in San Francisco. Version 4.4.1.1 of the NetCDF-C library is now available.
This is a maintenance release containing several important
bug fixes. The Unidata netCDF team recommend migrating to
netCDF 4.4.1.1 as soon as is possible to avoid a potential —
albeit extremely rare — data loss issue in ncgen
specific to
64-bit environments when using netCDF4 compound data types. Please
