The Integrated Data Viewer (IDV) version 5.3 is available now. This is a major release and is recommended for all users. It can be downloaded at:
https://www.unidata.ucar.edu/downloads/idv/current/index.jsp.
New features
System Changes:
- Latest netCDF-Java 4.6.5 library
- Latest VisAD
Display Changes:
- New 3D Volume Vector Display
- Volume Trajectories Display
- New Trajectory Display Types: Cylinder, Ribbon and Deform Ribbon
Data Changes:
- Local McIDAS Area Files with calibration and spatial subset
