LibCF will continue to evolve and develop to support the CF Conventions.

Better geographic subsetting.
Handling of new proposed extensions to the CF Conventions, like GRIDSPEC (This work has begun and can be built with --enable-gridspec).
Merger with CDUNITS climate calendar software.
Scientific data object standardization and implementation.
