[netcdfgroup] question about output file

 Dear all:
    
                       My program writes a large netcdf file, and becomes stuck 
for a very long time during the process (untill I finally kill it),

              the generated file is about 17gb.  I wonder if there is a volume 
limit for netcdf file output?

              The netcdf file is 64 bit.
