Carl,

How are the files ingested into the system? The names are created
by ingesting process. I can see the files are named from 0-9 that is
causing the overwrite.  Look at the man pages for pqinsert, ldmsend, and
pqing. If you are using pqing, then the header is not correct for the NMC3
feedtype.  You will have to look at the pqing code to see what type of
product headers it's expecting for NMC3.

It seems that the ldm is not getting a clean start up. 
To debug an LDM that hangs on start up, run the following from LDM home:

 % bin/rpc.ldmd -vl - -q data/ldm.pq etc/ldmd.conf

If can't find the problem or if the LDM still hangs, comment out all lines 
in ldmd.conf file, try again.

The LDM does not run with tcp wrappers, maybe a future version will use
wrappers.
