Hi Joanne! It's Anne.  How are you doing?  I hope they're treating you well!

The main limitation to running 2 LDMs is that the LDM grabs port 388 for sending
and recieving data.  To run 2 LDMs would mean modifying the source code to
accomodate another port, and then the upstream site would have to know to send 
to
that port, resulting in another logical network... Not a great solution.

Also, currently there is no way to prioritize products, although we have had
discussions about how to do this in future versions.

Perhaps the simplest solution at this time, if you have the resources, is to 
set up
a separate box on which to run another LDM to listen only for those high 
priority
products.  The LDM will run on Linux, and those systems can be acquired 
relatively
cheaply.
