Can't answer this question.

The ETX is an "end of text" error for a text product.  pqing was expecting
an #define ETX            0x03    /* ^C */ to terminate the product. I
suspect that your receiver is sending a garbled product to pqing once in a
while and then pqing is noting this in the ldmd.log files. I would check
the wires on the receiver and the hardware to improve the error rate.
