Hi Art,

motherlode is running on time.  However, University of Washington is
also reporting long latencies.  We're doing traceroutes from motherlode
to a variety of sites.  On Abilene, times to Texas are good, times to
Utah, Washington, and the East appear to be bad.  Here's the traceroute

This traceroute never completed - after some time I killed it. The
Abilene times are relatively slow - maybe latencies have been
accumulating for some time.  And, is something going on on your campus?
