Neil,

Both Chiz and Anne reminded me that the WMO header for the NOAAPORT
NEXRAD Level III products will change to include SDUS[237]. This means
that one would need to modify the pqact.conf NNEXRAD action
accordingly. Here is what I just changed our action to on motherlode:

# NEXRAD feedtype,
NEXRAD ^SDUS[2357]. .... ([0-3][0-9])([0-2][0-9])([0-6][0-9]).*/p(...)(...)
        FILE -close
data/pub/raw/nexrad/nids_(\1:yyyy)(\1:mm)\1/\5/\4/\4_(\1:yyyy)(\1:mm)\1_\2\3

I had a mistake my previous listing of corresponding WSI NIDS and
NOAAPORT Level III names. The correspondence for layer reflectivity
products should read:

WSI NOAAPORT Product
---------+---------+--------------------------------------
LREF1 NLL Layer Composite Reflectivity - Low Level
LREF2 NML Layer Composite Reflectivity - Mid Level
LREF3 NHL Layer Composite Reflectivity - High Level

Note that the WSI LREF1, LREF2, and LREF3 products do not (yet) have an
equivalent in the NOAAPORT broadcast.

The names of products available from the NOAA FTP site can be found in:

http://205.156.54.206/om/ord/iob/NOAAPORT/resources/noaaport_links.shtml#Radar

The anonymous FTP site itself is:

ftp://weather.noaa.gov/SL.us008001/DF.of/DC.radar

I hope that this helps...

Tom
