The file "configure.log" should have been created during step 6 near the
end of the file "INSTALL".

The file "config.log" was not attached to your email.

The file "make.log" should have been created during step 7 near the
end of the file "INSTALL".

Would you please do the following:

    1.  Go to the top-level source directory of the package.

    2.  Perform steps 3 through 6 near the end of the file "INSTALL".

    3.  Send me the files "configure.log" and "config.log" from step 6.
        Please send them as included plain text rather than as encoded
        attachments.
