Goals of this one-day workshop for new users are to:

• Help participants understand netCDF, and where and how to use it
• Introduce tools for using netCDF data without programming
• Introduce APIs for writing netCDF programs
• Provide advice to data providers
• Answer questions
• Get feedback about netCDF
• Connect users with developers
