Hi Bob,

I assume you mean that the logs are showing errors, and that
you're still using your own version of ldmd.conf (and not
the version of ldmd.conf in the distribution).

First, did you build a new queue before starting the new
version?  Remember that 5.1.3 requires you to remake the
queue.  Let me know the answer to this before I hypothesize
further.

It should not matter that other machines are running other
versions of the ldm, indeed, we do it all the time.  But, I
assume that all the ldm *processes* that are running on
datoo are all from the same version.  If they're not, that's
definately a problem.  In that case, everything should be
killed, the queue should be remade, and then you can restart
the ldm.

Please let me know the answers to this possibilities, and if
they don't address the problem I'll consider others.
