Hi Andrew,

As primary LDM support person, your question was forwarded to me.

I don't fully understand what you're asking about the overwrite option. 
'Overwrite' simply says to start writing at the beginning of the file so
that original contents are lost.  If I haven't answered your question
please ask me again.

Also, I believe the mailer inserted carriage returns in a variety of
places in your pqact.conf file.  Thus, it's hard to me to see what the
entries are really like in the file.  Can you make it available via ftp?
