Hello Prof. Hindman,

I'm not sure why your ldm stops ingesting data. What exactly happens
when you stop ingesting data. Does everything halt or is data reception
spotty?

I see that some products are not arriving in your queue in a timely
manner. (I assume this is because of bad network connectivity.) Some
products are being skipped because they are "too old". By default the
ldm is set up to skip products over one hour old. But it doesn't have
to be that way - we could change the default and you could get the
products anyway. Would that be better for you?

I recommend upgrading your ldm to the latest version. For one thing,
the improved product queue algorithms will eliminate the need to run
pqexpire, which is a bottleneck. I also recommend making a larger
queue. Right now your data volumes are just at the limit of the queue.
When lightening season starts your volume will go up. It looks as if
you have the disk space to do this. Do you have a system administrator
now, or would you like me to do these things for you?
