About: Software Download Data

• A download is equivalent to one successful GET request per user.
• Download data is for both HTTP and FTP protocols.
• Download data has NOT been filtered by session, i.e.: multiple requests for the same resource from the same user within a single HTTP session (~30 minutes) = multiple requests.

Please note the following when reviewing this data:

• HBCU institutions = EDU entity defined as a Historically Black College or University (HBCU)
• Undetermined = unable to determine the domain/host data needed to ascertain whether the user is from an HBCU institution.
