About Software Download Data:
- A download is equivalent to one successful GET request per user.
- Download data is for both HTTP and FTP protocols.
- Download data has NOT been filtered by session, i.e.: multiple requests for the same resource from the same user within a single HTTP session (~30 minutes) = multiple requests.
Please note the following when reviewing this data:
- HBCU institutions = EDU entity defined as a Historically Black College or University (HBCU)
- Undetermined = unable to determine the domain/host data needed to ascertain whether the user is from an HBCU institution.
- This is NOT a complete laundry list of all HBCU institutions that have downloaded Unidata software, but rather a list of germane sites we can identify.
