Proposed Charter of CONDUIT/CRAFT (C2) Advisory Committee
Bob Gall, USWRP

The C2 Advisory Committee is responsible for developing strategies for Internet access to real time (streaming) meteorological observations, as well as output from both experimental and operational forecast models, for use by the education and research communities. A component of the US Weather Research Program (USWRP), the Committee also recommends datasets to be included in Unidata's Internet Data Distribution (IDD)*. The Committee reports to the Scientific Steering Committee (SSC) and the Interagency Working Group (IWG) of the USWRP.

Merging the CONDUIT and CRAFT planning efforts is consistent with the charge and technologies being utilized to serve their stakeholders, and represents an effective mechanism for meeting the needs of the diverse USWRP community.
