after erasing all installation contents, and chmod 777 /tmp the installl
seemed to go through to completion, with a few general errors (missling
mlgdex) note log:
http://modelweather.com/files/patrick/edex_install.log.txt
Checking /awips2/data/pg_hba.conf ** Missing Checking
/awips2/edex/bin/setup.env ** Missing mlgedex
I am unsure if the chmod 777 fixed the postgre error, or if there was an
update prior to the second installtion, but it did go through this time
:)

after installtion completes, trying "edex start" hangs
^c out of that and trying "edex setup" hangs on edex IP and Hostname setup
cheers,

Ray,
In the log file you sent, this appears to be why the JVM is failing:
Caused by:
org.springframework.beans.factory.NoSuchBeanDefinitionException: No
bean named 'shefCamelRegistered' is defined
I do not see this on my EDEX servers. But I have to take a closer
look. edex-azure.unidata.ucar.edu will be down for a bit this afternoon
while I try a few things.

EDEXingest keeps restarting, then fails
This is the edex ingest log attached.
This may be why the edex start was hanging at that end point, it looks
at that log file.

If it goes this long, Ctrl+C cancel out of it and run "edex" again.
If all services are running then everything is fine.
