I'm really sorry about the delay in getting you an answer.   The schedule
is for a beta version of the FV3-based GFS to be available in 2018, and
then it would be officially implemented in 2019.  They "plan" to add these
fields into the pgrb files, but they have not officially developed the new
output products, so it's not a 100% guarantee.
