Hello,
I haven't seen anyone else bring up this issue, so I thought it would
be best to see if it is isolated to us. Since the switch to GFS v16 a
while ago, we have seen sporadic missing GFS grids over CONDUIT. For
example, with last night's 2021040600 run, we missing these grids:
missing gfs.t00z.pgrb2.0p25.f078
missing gfs.t00z.pgrb2.0p50.f084
With the 2021040500 run, we missed these:
missing gfs.t00z.pgrb2.0p25.f072
missing gfs.t00z.pgrb2.0p25.f075
missing gfs.t00z.pgrb2.0p25.f078
missing gfs.t00z.pgrb2.0p25.f087
missing gfs.t00z.pgrb2.0p25.f090
missing gfs.t00z.pgrb2.0p25.f093
missing gfs.t00z.pgrb2.0p50.f075
missing gfs.t00z.pgrb2.0p50.f078
missing gfs.t00z.pgrb2.0p50.f084
missing gfs.t00z.pgrb2.0p50.f096
missing gfs.t00z.pgrb2.0p50.f099
missing gfs.t00z.pgrb2.1p00.f075
missing gfs.t00z.pgrb2.1p00.f078
missing gfs.t00z.pgrb2.1p00.f081
missing gfs.t00z.pgrb2.1p00.f084
missing gfs.t00z.pgrb2.1p00.f090
missing gfs.t00z.pgrb2.1p00.f093
missing gfs.t00z.pgrb2.1p00.f096
This seems to happen every couple of runs. I have been able to
retrieve the missing files from nomads.ncep.noaa.gov.
Thanks for any info.
David
