Robb- In today's files, station information is getting duplicated. For example, 99033003_perl_ua.nc has three different entriesfor station 06476:wmoStat = 8160, 71924, 3501, 6476, 71924, 6476, 6476 ; If I run the decoder by hand using /var/data/ldm/upperair/99033006_upa.wmo as input, I end up with: wmoStat = 71924, 6476 ;Note there is only one entry for both 71924 and 6476.
Don, I ran ua2nc on the same raw file: 99033006_upa.wmo For station 6476 this is correct, the reports TTAA, TTBB, TTCC, ... all go into one record in the netCDF file. This was output file: 99033003_perl_ua.nc 03501 was
in a different file,
The ua2nc combines the reports on 3 hour intervals, so the next file was 99033006_perl_ua.nc that contained most of the reports including 0351 but I can't find 08160 anywhere in the raw
files.
This report probably came in on a later raw file, many times reports comein as much as 12 hours late.
The above looks ok, I want to check on the problem we looked at yesterday about duplicate entries for different stations. The ua2nc also creates log files that might explain some missing reports. ie station not in station file. Robb... > > Looks like something is getting stepped on somewhere.
