Hi Robb, >From your description of it, I'd LOVE to drive by your house today - but I think I'll be better served by not doing so - rats! Tomorrow afternoon will be fine. In the meantime perhaps you have some ideas regarding this error message from metar2nc: Mar 31 18:35:36 node0001 pqact[29662]: pbuf_flush (5) write: Broken pipe Mar 31 18:35:36 node0001 pqact[29662]: pipe_dbufput: decoders/metar2ncetc/metar.cdldata/pub/decoded/netcdf/surface0403 write error Mar 31 18:35:36 node0001 pqact[29662]: pipe_prodput: trying again
Tom, THis is either the ldm doesn't have write premission or the disk is full. I would duplicate the pqact entry on the command line: ie. ~/decoders/metar2nc ~/etc/metar.cdl ~/data/pub/decoded/netcdf/surface 0403 < rawdatafile.wmo The should show the errors on the screen. Robb...
And this error from ua2nc: Mar 29 22:46:30 node0001 pqact[6355]: pbuf_flush (5) write: Broken pipe Mar 29 22:46:30 node0001 pqact[6355]: pipe_dbufput: decoders/ua2ncetc/raob.cdldata/pub/decoded/netcdf/upperair0403 write error Mar 29 22:46:30 node0001 pqact[6355]: pipe_prodput: trying again Thanks!!
