Hi Brian, Following up on our conversation, where you have indicated interest in presenting and invited paper at Fall AGU. This is a 'formal' invitation to present such an an invited talk at the Fall AGU meeting in the Standards-based Interoperability session. The session world benefit greatly from a report summarizing the results and experience from the recent ESIP Web Services chaining exercises. George Percivall is giving another invited talk on the interoperability role/activities of OGC. There will also be 1-2 European invited talks. The deadline for registering invited authors is tomorrow. The session conveners Stafano Nativi ((CNR/UFlrorence), Linda Miller (Unidata) and myself are looking froward for your favorable response (by tomorrow :) by confirming your participation. Titles and abstracts are not due until much-much later, Sep 7. By a cc to lists (Infusion, GSN, GALEON) others are cordially invited to submit contributions to the AGU Interoperability session. The new Informatics section recognizes the importance of information management to earth sciences. Participation in the section offers the opportunity to influence it's agenda.
