Hello all, as discussed earlier with Ben and others on the telecon last Friday, I wanted to mention a couple of WCS servers that are up in relation to the NextGen Network-Enabled Weather project (NNEW). NNEW is a joint effort concerned with weather data interchange for SWIM and NextGen, involving NCAR/RAL, NOAA/GSD, and MIT Lincoln Labs. All of these WCS servers return NetCDF-3 data with the CF convention. NCAR/RAL - SOAP WCS 1.1 (not full featured yet): http://weather.aero/wcs/soap -------------------------- RUC 20 Fields GTG Turbulence CIP Icing Severity CIP Icing Probability NCAR/RAL - KVP (THREDDS) WCS 1.0: http://weather.aero/thredds/ -------------------------- RUC 20 Fields GTG Turbulence CIP Icing Severity CIP Icing Probability For example, a THREDDS endpoint for RUC20 would be: http://weather.aero/thredds/wcs/data/ruc20/fmrc/RUC20P_Aggregation_best.ncd MIT Lincoln Labs - SOAP WCS 1.1 (not full featured yet): http://ngentst.wx.ll.mit.edu:8080/wcs-spring -------------------------- CIWS Echo Tops CIWS Vertically Integrated Liquid (VIL) NOAA/GSD - WCS 1.0 (THREDDS): http://nextgen.fsl.noaa.gov/thredds/wcs/madis/rsas/MADIS-RSAS-Agg -------------------------- MADIS RSAS Thanks, Aaron Braeckel NCAR - Research Applications Laboratory
