Has anybody used the WMS' Auto projections by which one can provide several parameter values? Is this method obsolete? BTW, HDF-EOS uses a similar method used in CF-netCDF. It identifies a number of CRS names (codes) and a floating point array for parameter values. Ethan:The structure of a URN is so that you can create one - NOT so that theyare parsed for content. I think the fuzziness at the OGC in this regardis simple mistaken.GML is used now in the http://www.epsg-registry.org. This registry andthe assignment of EPSG codes is controlled by the registrationauthority, in this case the OGP. Another such registry could easily bedeployed assuming that someone is willing to be the registrationauthority and this could have perhaps a difference governance model thanused by the OGP. The 19111 new parts will make their way into GML of course. Ron
