Hi Jeff,
Strange that the problem is isolated to GDRADR. My first guess is write
permission set to allow the LDM user but not the GEMPAK user somewhere in
the /usr/local/ldm/data/text/**gempak/radar/ hierarchy.
But these "Cannot create file" errors have also been seen on systems
with is IPv6 enabled and the error messages have disappeared when IPv6 is
turned off. Could that be the case here?
