Mike,
I don't know what you mean by "pull in the 2M temps". If you have
grib/grib2 files, use "dcgrib2" to decode to GEMPAK grid files. If you
have GEMPAK grid files, then you're looking to plot with gdplot2:
GLEVEL=2
GVCORD=hght
GDPFUN=tmpf (or tmpc or tmpk)
For the WRF-NMM sfc/2m temperature map I use gdplot2 definitions in
the file

Hello,
I have some scripts that get the model data in using WGET. I’ve
upgraded to GEMPAK 7 and I now do not have any problems getting in
the data. However, I’ve been playing around and looking at the
datatype table, etc. I would like to know what can I edit to pull in
the 2M temps, and maybe perhaps do a color fill on those?
Thank you very much for your help.
Mike
