Hi Andy,
There are some slight differences between the maps and that is due to
differing resolutions in the map files that we use. For example,
the attached image showing the Bay area shows the difference between the
"World Coastlines", "Hi-Res US" and County maps.
If you have higher resolution maps you can always add and use them in
the IDV. We also welcome the contribution of new
maps.
